A NOTE FROM DELTA GAMMA:

Consistent with our Founders' thoughts over 135 years ago, our primary purpose is to create an environment for our members in which lasting friendships can be formed. We encourage an atmosphere among college women which fosters high ideals of friendship, promotes their educational and cultural interests, creates in them a true sense of social responsibility and develops in them the best qualities of character. Through our Delta Gamma Foundation we support our members' academic endeavors with undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships and interest-free loans. Every member is unique and yet we all share a single bond of friendship through Delta Gamma. DG is more than just a collegiate experience; it is a lifetime of commitment, support and opportunity awaiting you!

The unique joys of sisterhood found in Delta Gamma membership are boundless. Finding your big sis, studying together, living together, having someone to share your worries and your dreams are treasured moments. Women with the same goals and ideals create a sisterhood of mutual respect. This bond of friendship which begins in college will last a lifetime.

Dear Potential New Members,

143 North Copeland Street may just sound like an address to you right now, but I promise it means so much more.

Even though I haven’t met you yet, I know that you are all so special and have the potential to make a tremendous impact on this community. Recruitment is such an exciting experience that involves making a decision that will impact you not only throughout college but for the rest of your life.

Delta Gamma has the power to shape you into a more confident person and the best version of yourself. It can provide you with countless opportunities to grow yourself as a person, friend, leader, and sister. Over the years, we have supported one another, encouraged each other to reach our goals, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

I can’t wait to watch you make your own memories and grow into the women you hope to become. You have so many exciting times ahead of you and I hope you cherish every moment and take advantage of all of the opportunities that this community can provide you with. I encourage you to get involved in something that you are passionate about and push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Get involved in philanthropy opportunities! Get involved in leadership opportunities! Live in the house! Go to every event you can! Bond with your sisters! Because I promise you in a few years you’re going to look back and wonder where the time went.
