A NOTE FROM DELTA ZETA:

Ever since our founding in 1902, Delta Zeta has strived to fulfill its purpose of uniting its members in bonds of sincere and lasting friendship. Delta Zeta is deeply rooted in bonds of sisterhood and service, which has fostered an environment that gives our members the ability to grow together, while also becoming the best versions of themselves. Our sorority is built on the core values: of friendship, curiosity, generosity, citizenship, empowerment, and belonging.

Within our chapter, we have created an environment that cultivates lifelong, strong friendships that are centered around trust, empowering each other, and laughter. We support our sisters through all of their endeavors and focus on becoming the best versions of ourselves. Not only do we support our sisters to become involved within the chapter, but our sisters also are very involved throughout FSU’s campus. With our sisters attaining membership in the Student Government Association, FSU Circus, Seminole Dance Force, FSU Cheerleading, and much more, you will always be able to see a smiling face around campus. No matter our diverse passions and interests, everyone in Delta Zeta has been able to truly find a place that they can call home. Delta Zeta is a place where you will always hear laughter when walking through our doors, and always see a smiling, familiar face. We are thankful to have such an amazing place to go to every day, filled with the most amazing people who will be with us through all of life’s ups and downs.

The values of a Delta Zeta are as follows: To create a true and lasting friendship among a group of women, to encourage one another in the pursuit of knowledge, to promote values-based living, and to embrace social responsibility. In the Alpha Sigma chapter here at Florida State University, those values are taken to heart. This sisterhood is full of strong, amazing women coming from so many diverse backgrounds. The environment that has been created within Delta Zeta fosters empowerment and it pushes our sisters to become the best versions of themselves. We are all so grateful to call Delta Zeta our home as well as the women in it our sisters.
